Benefit For Derek Gerlach
The Flandreau edition of Plains Speaking People: Dakota Stories for the Stage is a benefit to support Derek Gerlach, a 10 year-old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November 2018. He is currently receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Derek had had one surgery and is facing a minimum of a year of chemotherapy to battle his cancer.
Derek is a friend to everyone he meets. He loves his family, baseball, comics and his dog Jeter.
Derek’s family has set up a gofundme page to help with the expenses of Derek’s treatment, travel costs and support the family.
